Shorts, other 90s Nick classics to air on new TeenNick block!

Looks like Nickelodeon does hold Camp Anawanna in its hearts after all. Nickelodeon's TeenNick channel is set to fresh out the box (starting in October, according to Kenan) and give the fans what's they've wanted for some ten years now.

The SNICK-like two-hour block will air Mondays-Sundays at midnight ET and will be titled "The 90s are All That." Obvious, All That will be part of the roster. Also included will be:

Salute Your Shorts
Clarissa Explains It All
Pete & Pete
Rugrats
Rocket Power (is it a classic yet?)
The Amanda Show

Plus many more to come. Hopefully they can get Alex Mack and Are You Afraid of the Dark? in there.

Give us Marc Weiner, Marc Summers, Larry Toffler, and Kirk Fogg. GUTS, Shelby Woo, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, Space Cases, Welcome Freshmen, Wild & Crazy Kids, Kablam!, Hey Arnold!, Doug, Ren & Stimpy uncut, Rocko uncut (speaking of which, Shout Factory is releasing Rocko on DVD), Harriet the Spy, Good Burger, Danger Mouse (before my time), Inspector Gadget, YCDTOTV (a little before my time), Fifteen (never saw), Nick Arcade, You're On!, The Angry Beavers, ...I could go on and on. Maybe throw in Sports Theater with Shaq every once in a while. My Brother and Me. Come on, you remember GOO PUNCH!

What shows do you want to see again, besides SYS?

In fact, the only problem I have with this announcement is that the shows I loved most — namely, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Salute Your Shorts, and Aaahh!!! Real Monsters — aren’t on the list of series that TeenNick is planning to start airing again. [UPDATE: A rep from MTV networks informs me that Salute Your Shorts did, in fact, make the cut. Think Anawanna-wanna, speak Anawanna-wanna, live Anawanna-wanna UGH!]

I think this report lies, because I've searched my FiOS schedule for a week, and all they show on TeenNick at midnight is stupid-ass Degrassi and the irrelevant That 70's Show.
