Who was worse?
Tim's mother or Jill's mother?
For me it's Tim's mother hands down, she was a nagging shrew who thought she had the right to order her adult sons around IN FRONT OF THEIR FAMILIES. Example:
- While she's staying over in TIM'S HOUSE, she starts snapping at him because he was upset that she ran out with Mr. Leonard. Ummm Tim was trying to tell her how he felt not to mention she was currently staying under his roof.
- Then in the episode when Randy came home for Christmas she starts snapping at Marty with "oh why couldn't you and Nancy figure something out so that both your girls could have both their parents at Christmas", uhhhh seriously when parents get divorced first of all being together for the children is a HORRIBLE idea, secondly it's beyond awkward when they try to pretend that everything is OK when it isn't. Not to mention she shouldn't be meddling in his affairs.
The worst thing Jill's mother ever did was tell her that Jill as a child should have just sucked it up because they had to move every 8 months and that "they all had to be brave little soldiers", that just simply isn't going to cut it. Other than that she seemed pretty supportive.
