Amazingly, he gets to keep his job even though he messes up on each and every TT show.

My take on it is that him breaking things and injuring himself is entertaining to viewers. Hence why he's not fired.

Boy, the premise of this show went right over your head.

Which got really old after the 3rd season. By the time he dropped the beam on Jill's car and started putting other people's lives in danger it started to get stupid. People nearly killed by electrocution and and hit by objects and Tim falling off the roof over and over again. The idiot stamp was put on it after he he was running over that golf course with a tank and it was like oh please, make it stop.
