What Happened to Home Improvement in Syndication?

This show is barely even on anymore and sometimes you can't find it anywhere on TV. Thankfully I have My DVD's and Many Episodes are on YouTube.

There was a time when this Show was on a lot in syndication first when it was still (when it first went into syndication) on The Air on Broadcast Networks then for many years after it went off the air. This was once one of the most played Shows in syndication and many ABC Stations aired reruns of it,

It was hugely popular when Cable Networks first started airing reruns of it. It made tons of money and brought in lot of revenues and for a brief time in the 1990s I tihnk it was Number 1 show in Syndication. In the early and mid 2000s it seem like it was on everywhere. It did extremely well on TBS.

Then it went to Nick at Nite in 2007 where it did decent enough to air in the 10PM (then 9PM) Timeslot for 22 Months until being shafted to late night in June 2009 before it was taken of the Schedule in October 2009. In 2010 it airings on TBS began to decrease (To the point where it was only airing on Saturday Morning.) before being taken of completely off the schedule in 2013. TV Land and Hallmark both aired Home Improvement but it only last a couple years on both and it was really quickly airing very early in the morning before it was taken off both respectively. Not it pretty much nowhere to be found.


Other Shows that came on the air at same time or aired at the same time like Roseanne, Fresh Prince, Friends, Seinfeld and Full House are continuously seen in syndication daily 10-20+ Years after they went into Syndication and Many Years after they went off the air. But Home Improvement a show that once extremely well has now disappeared. Why is that? The Nanny it has seem has also suffered the same fate in the last couple years.
