In the Hi Mom, I'm Not Home episode where it was Mike's birthday and Elaine wanted to spend it with him, but she had to work too much, so he spent his time with the Nielsens, it taught us that you should always spend time with your own family and not someone else's no matter how busy their work schedule may be and just because your parents have an inordinately busy schedule, doesn't mean they don't love you.
