What was the point of putting it on Disney Channel?

So as a kid, I remember this airing on Disneys 1 Saturday morning. Which was cool and all since I didn't have cable consistently growing up.

But I've always wondered why they chose to put a Nickelodeon original show on Disney?!?!?🤔🤔🤔

I'm pretty sure only the later series that was originally on ABC's One Saturday Morning went to the Disney Channel. I'm pretty sure the original never belonged to Disney or it wouldn't have the Nick logo when you watch it on Hulu. Plus I'm sure Disney would have released it on DVD to every store and not just have it made and sold by amazon.

I thought only the later show like I said was owned by Disney. I didn't know the original was. I guess Disney owns the show now.

no so the original one wasn't owned by Disney and then I guess they bought it and it aired on One Saturday Morning on ABC.

No. The one on One Saturday Morning was a sequel show to the original.
