While I was going through google images, I found this picture of some of the cast celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show. This was taken at Robert Ponmann Sound Studios, which served as the recording studio for both Nickelodeon and Disney versions of the series.

However, Billy West is not pictured here. Instead, Thomas McHugh (Doug from the Disney series) and Chris Phillips (Roger from the Disney series) are. I wonder why?

P.S. Not to act cold-hearted against Mr. West, but did he ever speak out against any of his former Doug castmates who agreed to reprise their roles in the Disney series?

Nope, not that I'm aware of.

You may also note Doug Preis (Mr. Bone, Doug's dad) isn't there, either.

Either Billy West couldn't make it, or wasn't asked to (perhaps this was just a Disney version reunion sort of thing).

Oh, I will add that Billy West has criticized the guy who replaced him on the Disney version (Thomas McHugh is the one I think he was specifically talking about, not so much the guy who did the Roger voice), saying he tried watching the Disney version once and "couldn't watch it" because the guy would make acting choices that West himself wouldn't have made, and he'd sit there cringing at it.

I don't think West was trying to make it personal, but he's made it clear he doesn't like the Disney version.
