Their school was HUGE!

Looked more like a college campus than an intermediate school. It had an outdoor pool, a fountain, a track/football field, separate buildings . . .It even looked nicer than their MIDDLE SCHOOL!

Yes but it's a cartoon lol. I'm sure a few elementary schools out there look that nice however. I thought their school looked like a hamburger from the top lol.

I have another thread that guesses that maybe because it's set awhile ago, but it's also also possible that they wanted to give it a middle school or high school feel, but still have them be young so they could have the kids relate to them. It was easier to get away with being a cartoon.

Well, keep in mind, Beebe goes to that school, and her father is filthy rich and practically runs the whole town. If his daughter's going to go to public school, you can bet it's going to be a very nice facility. That's probably the only thing Mr. Bluff donates toward.

Once they moved to Disney's One Saturday Morning and the gang went off to middle school, the new middle school was indeed funded by Mr Bluff and was shaped like Beebe. So that makes sense. Also Bluffington seems to have a lot of kids, maybe they needed one large central school. My city and most cities and towns around me had like half a dozen small elementary schools, one or two middle schools and one high school. Most of the buildings were built between 1900-1940 (my elementary school was built in 1899) so they were understandably small. After they built a bunch of new schools and either tore down or remodeled into condos the old schools we were left with 3 K-5 and two K-8 that are much larger than their predecessors.

Neighboring Wakefield, MA had an elementary school called the Beebe School and I always found this coincedence hilarious. It was later torn down but the renovated library was renamed the Beebe Library. Wakefield - the real life Bluffington?

Oh my goodness they were only in ELEMENTARY?? I don't know why but growing up I always assumed they were in high school, if not middle school. I was pretty young watching re reruns of this show (I was born the year it came out), but I always thought they were teens, not pre teens. Wow lol.

I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.

Yeah, if you weren't paying careful attention, it's easy to see how you might make that mistake. They did seem to have lives resembling teenagers more than tweens.
