Did they ever found out who was the principal?

I just remember that Roger was there before Doug arrived, but none trully knew anything. And then they just graduated.

Oddly, I saw that episode also around my final days at elementary school, and it was never aired again. Or at least not for me to see.

Doug was told that Principal Buttsavitch gave a speech at the graduation ceremony, but Doug had missed it because he was in his office talking to Roger at the time.

And what do you mean it was never aired again? They aired all the episodes on Nickelodeon in order in reruns for YEARS after the series ended. I must have seen the episode 15-20 times as a kid.

What I meant at the end is, that I was never able to see it again; and so I was under the idea it was aired only once.

So you didn't watch the reruns? Or did you start watching right before they took it off the air in the early 2000s?
