Was it ever established how Patti's mother died?

My thought was that it went something like this:

Before Doug moved to Bluffington, Patti's house was invaded by a masked intruder, armed with a gun, who seemed to have a history of stalking women. He broke into the house, killed Patti's mom, shot Chad in the leg, and ran off. The crime was never solved, and the identity of the killer is unknown.

Chad survived, but his injuries left him unable to walk for the rest of his life.

Yeah, I know it sounds crazy, but that was my theory for the longest time.

I'm pretty sure the implication is that it was a car accident. Patti's father survived, but he's a paraplegic as a result of the injuries he sustained.

But that's just how I interpreted it. I guess there's no actual proof. Your theory does make a little sense in the sense that their old home (which Doug knocked down) was uninhabited/abandoned, as if there was some sort of tragic stigma attached to that house.

Maybe in those God-awful "Doug uncensored" videos. By the way, everyone who made those, thinking they were funny, deserves to be murdered and raped (with the exception of the original Tiff51 ones, those were mildly amusing at times).

The creators of the vulgar/pornographic "comic strips" deserve death the most. Really, really stupid *beep*

I would assume maybe a car accident since Patti's dad is a paraplegic. However, this baffles me, if he is a cripple, how could he still drive? Cripples can't move their legs, so he can't use his feet for gas or breaks.

He drove in the Halloween episode, by the way.

It all points it was an accident, but honestly; this is one of the most disturbing and saddest things ever on children's cartoons.

Maybe she died of grief when Doug knocked down her house with the rock.

Now to think about it, was it ever implied she died? There is also the chance she ran way/got a divorce after the accident as maybe she was not able to handle her husband having a handicap or something.

She choked while going down on Chad, then Chad fell down the stairs attempting to call 911. There you go. That is what happened.
