I remember this show being on but I never watched it so I wouldn't have any nostalgia towards. Is it still a good show to watch but; even without the nostalgic attatchment?

This is one of the best 90s Nick shows around. At least until Jinkins moved to Disney and made new episodes there. I like Nicks Doug and Disney's Doug, but this is slightly better. Go ahead and watch it. You'll love it. Porkchop is so cute!

Depends.

If you like suburban satire, clever humor/wit, layered writing, and subtleties, you'll like Doug.

If you're into anime/cartoon fight scenes or lots of sexual innuendo/dirty jokes, you probably won't.

Yes, but you should know some of the season 1 episodes are a little dull (though season 1 also features some of the best episodes of the series, such as Doug's Doodle, Doug Gets His Ears Lowered, and Doug On the Wild Side). The characters do evolve as the series progresses.
