Does anyone else think that the music that is played in the scene where Mr and Mrs Dink are talking about the first time they danced in the "Doug Can't Dance" episode sounds like "Another One Bites The Dust" by Queen?.
I'll have to listen to those songs/pieces when I can to see if I hear it. Note; didn't Roger (who was dressed as a hammer) say "It's hammer time" before the Foot Hop? It was probably intentional. (also, if it sounds like "U Can't Touch This" doesn't that mean it also sounds like "Super Freak" by Rick James?)
There's one piece of music in Doug that always sounded like a piece from "The Land Before Time" to me. It's in quite a few episodes, it sounds like someone's humming it. One example is the episode where Doug and Patty are handcuffed together (I think it's simply called "Cuffed", but I could be wrong) and Doug has a flashback montage about him and Patty (after he says something like "All I ever wanted, was to be near her"). It was something I always noticed as a kid.
My favorite Final Destination is the 4th – DEAL with it!
From what I understand, all the music that involves humming or singing or mouth sounds was done by Fred Newman (who was also the voice of Skeeter, Porkchop, Mr. Dink). The exception to that would be when certain characters that weren't voiced by Newman would sing. The instrument parts were done by Dan Sawyer, though Newman also played some makeshift instruments as well.
The tune doesn't have words to it in the "Doug Can't Dance" episode, but it does in the "Doug's Runaway Journal" and "Doug's Pet Capades" episodes. The words are "I'm a dog, you're a dog. Everybody do the dog. Bet you're gonna do the dog all day long".
