Unedited Intro?

In the introduction, Skeeter swings in on the string and smacks into the screen (fourth wall). In every version I've seen since the 90's, the scene suddenly cuts to Doug popping out from behind a line, and Skeeter is gone.

I distinctly remember seeing the full version on TV with Skeeter sliding down, lasting an additional couple of seconds, which would explain that line Doug pops out from... Does anyone have any idea if this is available anywhere in the world?

In my hunt for this lost couple of seconds, I've found that they've made this edit as far back as the 1993 VHS retail video release (Volume 1: How Did I Get Into This Mess?), so they did it really early in the series. The only possible way to find it is if someone had happened to tape this off of TV when it first aired, but I highly doubt that exists :(
