This is a great series but there was a lot of awful acting going on.
The guy who played Charlie and the twins were the main culprits.
shareI thought Charlie was okay, but the twins were not very good, though the younger children don't really have to do a lot of acting. i did think it rather a pity they had a different actress plqying primrose in the second and third seasons, perhaps the first one wasn't available, or wasn't a good enough actress, but I thought she looked exactly right for primrose, while i didn't think the second one was quite pretty enough (primrose is supposed to be even lovelier than Mariette as she grows up).
