The main character has a kid that was kidnapped. I remember it was this show, but I don't remember what season it was. I remember there was a jacket in a car trunk with blood. At least I think it was the main characters son...not sure anymore. Long time ago and all. Can any body tell me when and where, and what was going on at that point in the show?

It was one of the episodes with Telly Savalas, because it was a couple of his henchmen who did it and it was him who brought David back (relatively unharmed).
