how on earth was this able to air on TeenNick without copyright issues?

Clarissa has aired on teenNick's "the 90s are all that block", along with a few other Classic nick shows

The admins of the facebook page for the block had once stated Pete & Pete has music copyright issues.

The All that performances are edited out of the episode.

2 kenan & kel episodes are skipped due to copyright issues with music by Tamia and LL Cool J ("Mama said knock you out" Is in "baggin' saggin Kel" from season 1")

TeenNick also aired the first Amanda show episode that uses "Everybody dance now" by C&C music factory in a "Judge Trudy" Skit. This episode is missing from Amazon.com's Manufactured on Demand "best of season 1" DVD

YET...... Clarissa has copyrighted music, in almost every episode. Yet it still aired

It uses the same loop of "keep on Dancin'" by Alvin Clash that was sampled by Queen Latifah on her 1989 song "dance for me" as background music in almost every episode

Something doesn't make sense here. How can Clarissa freely use Alvin Clash but the other shows have to cut their episodes with music out?

reply

It's possible the copyright holders for the music used in Clarissa just plain didnt care.

The Office died in Season 4. Lieberstien's a hack. Tate sucks. All facts

reply

Or maybe Nick had a different deal with music rights for Clarissa
