Sorta reminds me of...
an 80's style of My Family. Not as good though...and the fashion and hairstyles scare me. It's ok to watchy, but I wish YTV would bring back My Family.
shareMore 90s than 80s, I think you'll find. It ran from 1991 to 1999. My Family is ok, I suppose, but not a patch on this.
shareMy family is funny but I think 2.4 children gives a more accurate picture of family life. In fact, at times it reminds me of the good episodes of Roseanne (the quality of actor playing the father in each show is another parallel).

sharedid you meen like 'your family..the show' or your own actual family in real life? only ask this cos i recall an interview where belinda was asked if her own real life family was like the porters, where upon she replied that if they where like the porters she'd have gone insane with all the mishaps and adventures they <porters> got up too.
shareI meant my real family. Of course we never had the extreme situations they got into but there's a little bit of every character I can easily identify with my family members.
