Dissapointed in DVD tribute to Gary Olsen
I recently bought series 1-3 of this brilliant sitcom on DVD. I had only recently learnt of the death of the shows star, Gary Olsen so I was looking forward to the tribute to the star on the 1st series DVD
But I was left dissapointed by the so called tribute. It consisted of silent clips from 2 Point 4 Children with a male voiceover that sounded less than enthusisatic documenting his life in litle detail.
I dont exactly know what I was expecting but I presumed that they would have some of the other shows stars (Clare Buckfield, Belinda Lang etc) talking about and paying tribute to the man they had worked with on one of the best sitcoms which ran for 8 SERIES.
I am very diisapointed that such a talent who's life was cut tragicly short has not been paid tribute to more,
come on BBC, surely you could make more of an efort to serve the memory of a man man who provided 9 years of brilliant comedy to us all, was one of the country's best actors and a remarkable human being
