I LOVE Bill!
She is so cynical and bossy and has an opinion on everything but really she only says what we all think deep down, and she is a good person and mother.
I think Belinda Lang plays her perfectly, she is so realistic and I actually work with someone who is JUST like Bill. It's fun because everything she says I think "That's something Bill would say" :D
I love her rants about "Bloody Thatcher"... it's a shame they died out after the first few series'.
I love Bill too. It's funny that she's portrayed as both a very witty character and very attractive. I quite fell for her, which was ironic considering some episode scripts wrote her off as unattractive (like the first or second episode of series 1), while I thought her very sexy, but also very witty and charming.

Bill is brilliant - often overshadowed by Ben, the loveable big kid, her sarcasm was without equal! As the series' went on though, I missed her 'BLOODY THATCHER!!!'. Can you imagine her reaction to Brown and co? I can't believe this show has been off the air for 10 years! When viewing repeats, it always seems so fresh (apart, of course, from the leggings!).
