Men in drag

Is it just me or did like half the witches in the meeting look like dudes in dresses?

reply

Never mind, the Trivia just answered my question. I wonder why tho.

reply

I noticed that too just the other day! And read that in the trivia section as well. I think they probably did it because it was easier to find bald men to fill the room rather then put a bald cap on every woman.

reply

I heard it was considered insensitive to have the women bald if they did it.

reply

Had me scratching my head as we'll lol

reply

It's on tv now and I thought that was completely unnecessary.

Presumably because casting old men make the witches look more repellent. Also, it would be quite offensive to cast actresses on the basis they looked like witches.

What I can't believe is how long it took me to notice that - I mean, it's just so obvious when you look at it now! It's not even GOOD drag, lol

As a child it escaped me completely. Funny that.

I have freeze framed this several times trying to locate Michael Palin but I can't find him.
Can somebody point him out for me?
Monty Python cornered the market on ugly men in drag.

reply

He is wearing a brown curly wig and wearing a black/gold pattern blouse top and sitting next to the witch in red with the big 80's style hair.

reply

I believe I see him now. Right behind the witch in red. The camera zooms into him quickly after Huston says "You're in for a treat ...... We ALL are."

reply

Yes, you are correct
