Who is that woman in red

Standing on the beach when the GHW pushes the babys pram down the hill?

Always wondered who the hell she was.

She is just one of the witches looking for Luke, and I presume also excited looking up to see a baby pram is going to fall of the cliff. From her position on the beach, the pram would fall right off the cliff pretty much right at her feet. She was also shown to be in the ballroom earlier.

Was she in the ballroom? I never noticed her, it was also strange how she'd removed her gloves aswell.

She was in the ballroom. She had kind of wild dark hair. She was on the right hand side of the witch audience.

She wasn't the only witch who had her gloves off outside. What about that one that grabbed at Luke's shoulder outside when he was climbing over the hotel railing and onto the beach.

Interesting I will have to have a closer look as I never thought that was the same person as the witch with the wild dark hair.

Had to be her. She was the only one in a red dress and was a brunette.

reply

It's not her, having just watched the scene, it is clear that is not only two different actresses but also two different outfits entirely. The first witch's dress has sleeves that go down to her elbows and long red gloves, she also has a design around the chest of the dress. the second witch has no sleeves and a paler red- the dresses are very distinctly different.

reply

Then it's a continuity error.

reply

She was a witch and she was excited that the baby was gonna get pushed. As for being outside, maybe she was late for the meeting and went for a walk on the beach.

reply

She was late so she decided to walk the beach? That makes no sense.

reply

How does it not make sense? The witches rented rooms at the hotel for over night and were having a special dinner that night. It was a witches social event, the meeting was only a part of it.

If she was late to the meeting then she would still attend since it's their important annual meeting where they have to listen to the new orders and instructions from The Grand High Witch. Imagine if she saw the Grand High Witch later at dinner and said she went for a beach stroll instead of going to the meeting.

She's be dead meat.

reply

I don't think she would divulge such information, not to The Grand High Witch at least.

reply

She wouldn't have to. The Grand High Witch would know she wasn't there.

reply

That may be, but that all would have happened after the baby incident. So she still vould have been walking on the beach. I'm sticking with that explanation for why she was there. :)

reply

the whole point of the the week was to have the meeting. that was the one thing they had to cover up from the public, everything else was for show. so it doesn't make sense that she wouldn't attend

reply

Zzzzzzzz

Sound logic making you sleepy?

reply

How much logic can there be in a story about witches?

reply

It's what I would have done, why ruin ghe whole day just because you missed a meeting? That makes no sense to me.

reply

Whatever the reason- this witch was only seen in this scene.
