First was Romeo's film and I enjoyed it. Then came Argentino. (I am fasinated by Argentino's work - not only are the films crap but everyone loves them.)
I couldn't watch The Black Cat - It was too disturbing. I felt sick after 20 or so minutes. I had to turn it off. The Guy killing the cat and then the woman in the bath full of blood. I felt sick!
you shouldnt watch any italian horror movies if you have that problem. mainly stay away from argento,deodato,lenzi,bava,and d'amato movies oh and definatly fulci

I have a hard time listening to the opinion of anyone who thinks George's name is "Romeo". I thought the title of the post was a typo, but since this error is repeated I think not.
If you can't take the killing of a cat and a woman in a bath of blood, then you shouldn't be critical of any horror movie.

I just finished watching the old grimy VHS release of this movie, and it was an ass-kicking experience. =D I need to buy the Blue Underground Special Edition DVD sooner or later! Anyway, it's nice to see inspired output from 2 horror film directors who weren't senile at one point. I haven't watched Argento's Giallo yet, but La Terza Madre was nothing short of horrible and embarrassing. As for Romero, i couldn't even bring myself to finish watching Survival Of The Dead. Enough said... goodnight!

I actually really like his last three zombie movies because they feel more like real people and they're the pretty much the opposite of the first three in scope.
