ONE OF MY 100 FAVORITE FILMS ALL TIME...ONE OF THE VERY FIRST DVDS I ACTIVELY LOOKED TO UPGRADE TO BLU RAY...IT IS VERY NEAR PERFECT.

THE SECOND ONE IS THE BEST SEQUEL...THEY TAKE A STEP DOWN IN PRODUCTION VALUE AFTER THAT..IF YOU ENJOY THE WORLD OF GRABOIDS THEY ARE ALL STILL A LOT OF FUN AND WELL WORTH THE TIME...MICHAEL GROSS AS BURT GUMMER BECOMES THE HEART AND SOUL OF THE FRANCHISE.

I ACTUALLY FIND BLU RAY TO BE THE PERFECT FORMAT...ANYTHING PAST THAT IS MORE OF A NOVELTY.

I rewatched the film recently and it was the first time I had seen it since I was a kid. It's still a great movie and holds up well. The cast is great (Victor Wong FTW!) and the practical monster effects kick the shit out of today's CGI nonsense.

It's a shame that Rhonda LeBeck's career and life trajectory went straight downhill after this film. I thought she was quite good here but it seems she was unable to capitalize on it.
