Best $3 you'll spend in your entire life.

Me too! Although it's the crummy non-anamorphic widescreen edition, but hey, for $3, who can complain?

Bought this movie on DVD years ago.

Would gladly blow $100 on it if I didn't have it already.

Tremors is probably my most favorite movie ever. I remember when I was about 8 or so... we were at my parent's cabin (fresh water lake, tubing, waterskiing, swimming, video games, good food, the works!) and friends and relatives were up. My Dad and his twin brother went to the movie store and came back with Tremors and Arachnophobia. TOTALLY GOAT selection.

Ever since my dad and I were hooked on Tremors. I've probably watched it easily over 50 times in my life. Time well spent I might add =)

At one point as a kid (and probably to this day) I had the entire script memorized.

"Good morning Mr. Basset, this is your wake up call. Please move your ***."
"Stampeded Earl, STAMPEDED GET OUT OF THE WAY GET OUT OF THE WAY!!"
"You dumb ****."
"HAHAHA"

Yah.. good stuff.

Got all four together in a pack for 2.00 at a used DVD place.

I just watched it. It's okay. If I had to, I guess I might watch it again - once - before I die. Watching it 50 times seems to be symptomatic of a problem, likely mental or social. The next time you feel the urge, ask yourself: what hole in my life does watching a mediocre film like "Tremors" fill? It looks like, in your case, it brings back memories of a better time in your life. Almost every sentence in your post about this movie mentions the past ("years ago", I remember when I was about 8 or so...", "I've probably watched it...", "as a kid..") . Perhaps you relate to the two main, purposeless characters who sit waiting around for life to happen? And it takes a miracle to kickstart their life? Is your life so empty that you can do no better than rewatch an old movie? There are no "graboids" coming to start your life - don't waste it sitting around watching an "okay" movie.

haha take it easy bro.

There's nothing wrong with nostalgia. Everyone looks back on things from their past more fondly than they really are. That's human nature..nothing wrong with that.

Even if that poster has an incredible life right now, the stress and day to day grind will pale in comparison to the old days with no responsibilities and just pure innocence. Again, nothing wrong trying to hold onto those memories.

nothing wrong with watching it 50 times even without childhood nostalgia
