After hearing Tremors 5 is coming soon

I'm extremely disappointed.

This is one of the rare films which I think a big budget remake/reboot would do it a favor.
The series had 3 sequels up to 2004 and I was fine with that.
But 11 years from the fourth one, now comes 5th one and it's not looking promising.
Tremors has potential as a flashy remake not some cheap 5th installment.

Making things worse still is the director of the fifth film: Don Michael Paul.
The maker of "Half Past Dead" "Lake Placid 2" "Jarhead 2" "Sniper: Legacy" all rip-offs rather than decent sequels. (Sniper Legacy even looks like a title rip-off of Bourne Legacy)

Come on. You let this series rest for 11 years and now drag it back out for a cheap direct-to-DVD?
Urgh how long will we have to wait for a decent Tremors.
