There was plans to make SI into a TV series. Dang Enforecer Drone got to them, I tells ya.

I never heard about this. When? and what happened do you know?

I amnaged to tlak briefly with Patrick Johnson via e-mail, mentioned my fondness for SI, and he mentioned he was working on a TV Series for SI. That's all I know. For a little while I was happy.
course, all thta could mean was he was shopping the idea around. Course, it took Tremors about a decade to get a Tv series, so, who knows. Maybe this will make it in 20. Need that sequel first though.

True! A follow up would kind of be nice! Who knows though? It's hollywood!

I'd love to see a continuiing story of say, some hardass marines teaming up with the aliens on an interstellar journey by accident...

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL.

If they planned it I don't think it ever got made. I don't think the movie was good enough that a TV show based on it would have been successful anyway.
