Were these movies popular in the 90s?

I guess someone liked them a lot, since four of them got made. I liked Snake Eater 2 better than the first one because it was intentionally funnier. I never saw either of them until the last few years though, when I found them on YouTube. Wondering if anyone remembers renting them or even seeing them in the theater.

They only made three of them, not four. Movies like this were rented a lot, just how it was back then.

Lorenzo Lamas was deemed the New Jon Johnson an still to this day people head on down to rent his movies.. he looks good on the cover and woman want him.
