How Funny Was It When Clint And The Girl Had Sex?
Pretty funny. He didn't struggle, or anything. And then, the comment Charlie Sheen made about it. Clint Eastwood's line, "She didn't sit on my face!", was hilarious!
shareClint Eastwood did struggle some but in the position he was in, handcuffed to a chair leather chair, there was not really much he could do. Sure he probably could have tried to kick her but if he kicked her too hard a woman like Liesl would have no problem shooting him for it just like she had no problem shooting his partner in the casino and aside from holding a gun on her Clint's partner really did not do anything wrong to Liesl. So who knows what she would have done had Eastwood tried anything that aggressive but I have no doubt it would not have been pretty. Also there was clearly an attraction for Liesl on Clint Eastwood's part. In Clint's defense he did refuse to bite the bullet at first and later headbutted Liesl. Oh and when Liesl walked to the VCR to push in a videocassette just before she straddled Eastwood it became quite clear to him and to the audience she had planned on having her way with him going back to the night before as we all saw her setting up a camcorder but until the next morning, so to speak, it was not clear why she did that and so knowing that Liesl planned to ride him even when her husband was still in the warehouse I think Clint Eastwood realized there was no stopping her.

But a person can raise a lot of questions here like why was the tape left in the vcr after Liesl had gone to such lengths to set up not one but two camcorders to catalog all the "action." We see her set up one in the corner the night before when her husband is still there. My guess is she did that because it added to the thrill. You know the whole "what if I'm caught" thrill. And the next morning we can see that at some point she setup a second one directly behind the leather couch. Later Liesl not taking the tape out gets her into some trouble as witnessed when Strom stop in his tracks to see the screens and then Liesl stopped in her tracks when she saw Strom who then gave her an angry look and we could hear a rattlesnake rattle. But aside from Strom making a mention of it later in the van. Something like "say bye to the pig" there is no other remarks from Strong about it and he seems like the type of hubby whod kill a cheating spouse. Anyhow back to your question I have no clue. It had no use other than Nick learning that Strom had one too which he later used to deliver the final blow.

I'm a psych major working towards a bachelors and my professor has us doing character studies all the time on both real and fictional charecters. If you really dont like these sex scenes why bother mentioning them?
share When you see sexscenes in mainstream films they are often similar to softpornscenes. This can annoy me, because it dosen`t belong in a mainstream film, it dosen`t add anything new to the movie itself and it slows the movie down. In a regular adult film tough, the sexscenes belongs because you expect them to be there. And the same thing goes for adult films, but the other way around. You know, when they try to make a adult film with a plot and actionscenes, a script "good" actors etc. It just dosen`t fit in there. That`s why I brought up the porn thing. And back to the topic at hand.... Some friends and I noticed it seems as if Liesl and Pulovski felt something for one another after they had sex even if it is purely sexual. When Pulovski first makes his escape attempt he headbutts Liesl and that's all he does. BUT, big but, he beats the hell out of Strom's mechanic. Then when Pulovski is on top of the elevator he shoots at Strom and misses waking Liesl out of her slumber. Liesl stands at attention, walks over to the elevator shaft and looks down, then stops the elevator. Until Strom runs up those steps Pulovski has a clear shot at Liesl but never takes it, he doesn't even aim his gun. But as soon as Strom appears even though he doesn't have a good shot Pulovski aims and fires. And of course there's that part for no good reason (other than perhaps Liesl hoped Pulovski would let her go or follow her and save her) where Liesl splits up from Strom during the final chase and even though he doesn't follow Pulovski keeps his eyes on Liesl until she disappears around the corner.
Ok, so you understand that I don`t like sexscenes in mainstream films, good. Guess I am not allowed to mention that without getting my teeth kicked in. I wasn`t rying to bash anyone when I mentioned the sexscene, jus`t comment on the scene. What character study by the way ? The first post started off with how funny it was when they had sex. It was you that started this "study". Besides, no one exept you and me has posted here for like a month. shareI found that particular scene intensely erotic actually and thought it was essential to the development of the plot though sadly after just having watched it there on Ch. 5 i was dismayed that they cut almost all of the Clint and Sonia Braga romp and also chopped some of the violence. Goddam philistines spoiling a guys fun.

I agree the sex was key to the plot. Now how would Clint Eastwood ever have been able to deliver that great line, "There's gotta be a hundred reasons why I don't kill you but right now I can't think of one" or even found the final bullet to blow Strom away if not for Liesl's comment? What you might want to do agent smecker is buy it on DVD. Best Buy sells it for ten dollars. At least near me.

How many sex scenes do you need before you call it porn? Granted, in most porn movies, the characters are wearing less clothes, but other than that, that scene fits in with a lot of movies about pizza delivery guys and stranded female motorists.
