The press conference scene when all the reporters are making fun of Tommy and knocking him was hilarious. I always laugh when I see that part.

Union Cane, never won the title from Rocky.

Anywho this is also my favorite scene.

The best is the overacting of Tommy.

"Why does everybody think I'm a bum?

I won this fair and square.

I'm not a Robot.

This is your own man talking!"

I don't let anyone hot-comb out my HAIRitage!

Agree 100%, I just saw that scene on tv now and it's the funniest part. All the reporters (most of who are real life boxing reporters) had the best jokes and lines.

What? I seriously didn't think any of these parts of the movie were suppose to be funny. The only parts I thought were supposed to be funny were when during the tommy Gunn training montage, Rocky squirts Paulie with the water. But my favorate was when Tommy calls Rocky out of the bar, and those overweight guys are like "Hey Rock you need some help" and Rocky tells them "Naw guys, this aint no pie-eating contest".LOL

At the end of the movie when Tommy douchebag wants a fight outside the bar; Rocky's friends ask if he needs help. He replies, "It's not a pie eating contest." Lol!

The press conference, culminating in Duke getting Tommy to goad Rocky into fighting, is why this movie is so damn underrated. It is hilarious.

"The best? This guy's a bum! He doesn't even deserve a shot at the title!".

I also love the press conference in the airport hanger at the start of the movie:

Reporter: Rocky, the American Medical Association has recommended that boxing be banned. Do you agree with the doctors?

Rocky: Yeah, absolutely. I think that doctors should never fight.

That was hilarious when that reporter was saying that. I also thought it was funny when that one reporter was telling Tommy to fight some real opponents and Tommy points to the belt and says, "But I beat the best tonight," and the reporter just starts laughing at him. lol

The press conference went too far. Sure it was kind of funny, but it was completely unrealistic and felt more like a bad dream with everyone laughing at the champ. Can't see anyone at ESPN doing that.
