I Met The Reflecting Skin Twins!

The twins live here in my home town, and I have seen them around for years but never had the courage to speak to them. I thought they would prefer some privacy, but yesterday as I stood at McDonald's waiting in line, the one twin came up and asked if I was in line. I said yes, went to the counter, and she was right next to me at the other teller. Perhaps because I have a very bad cold right now, and was totally bombed on medication I got the courage and asked "Were you and sister in The Reflecting Skin?". She smiled and said yes. I had told her that that movie has always been one of my favorites, and she added that it was quite fun to make. I complemented on their scene and how it still haunts me to this day (they really were quite the sight in that movie). I thanked her for taking the second to chat, and wished her well, but as I was walking out she came back to me with her sister. Again we chatted very briefly; they were two of nicest people I've met. As I said, I have seen them for years, but never approached them because I wasn't sure if they wanted to be noticed or recognized. I think still they do enjoy their privacy (as anyone would)but were very friendly.
