Absolutely. This is actually a documentary with archival footage from the actual Inquisition (ca. 15th century). That's ~550 years ago, if you're too busy maligning to do the math.
What about the Aztecs of the 12th century, who were sacrificing some
20,000 people annually to their gods? (Compared to the ~6000
total killed in the Inquisitions.)
What about 1300 years of Muslim crusades, including the Armenian genocide and mass killings of Hindus?
What about the last 1200 years of Islamic jihads?
What about the current Islamic practice of punishment by mutilation, dismemberment or stoning to death?
And you would be well served to remember that the Inquisition was started by the Episcopal Church ~45 years before the Catholic Church jumped on the bandwagon.
