Yes, that has been brought up before years ago on this forum and even on the Batman begins forum back in the day. There is definitely a similarity...not one that I would say is on purpose or anything, but a similarity none the less. It's just the evil guy wearing a suit, tie, and mask I guess.

It was great seeing Crane return in The Dark Knight Rises!

Crane = One of the best things about DKR, and its a brilliant film :)

I think the look of the killer in The Collector was certainly influenced by this.
