Is Boone jew?

In the book it's said he's circumcised.
Or is it a kind of rite of initiaton for people joining the Nightbreed?

I was about to say that many American males are circumcised regardless of religion, but then it just occurred to me that Cabal is probably set in England(haven't read it) and that circumcision isn't as common in Europe. As far as whether it means he's Jewish, I have no idea. Boone isn't a Jewish name, is it?

Edit: For some reason I assumed that Clive's stories were generally set in England and then moved to North America to be more appealing to Americans(I'm more of a fan of Hellraiser and the cenobite mythology than being a general Clive Barker fan). But circumcision is about as prevalent in Canada as it is in the US so the fact that Boone is circumcised probably has no bearing on his religious status.

well there has been an influx of guys not be circumcised. Well jews had to hid there religion so they picked ford smith so you really dont know.

Not so much since there is a club that is saying we need the foreskin and a piece of there body or dick has been removed and they feel violated. BS!

First, mine was a question, not a statement.
Second, being jew doesn't mean necessarily speaking hebrew, especially outside Israel... and not all jews wear stars of David on them, just like not all christians wear crosses... and as of the star of David, you can see it clearly in the movie, by the way.
Anyway it's still unclear why CB wanted Boone to be circumcised, certainly there's a reason, no problem if you don't know the answer...

First, it was a question, not a statement.

Second, being jew doesn't mean necessarily speaking hebrew, especially outside Israel... and not all jews wear stars of David on them, just like not all christians wear crosses... and as of the star of David, you can see it clearly in the movie, by the way.

So he is Jewish? True but not all jews are white some are black chinese etc etc
