Has anyone read the original Nightbreed comics?
Boom studios is bringing them back now but does anyone know if the original early 90's run of Nightbreed comics are worth tracking down?

Yeah, I read the first four issues (the ones that were based directly on the film). I enjoyed them a lot.
shareYes, the movie adaptation was good. It pretty much followed the script of the film and pulled a few visual ideas from the book Cabal. The trade paperback that collects the first four issues has a forward written by Malcolm Smith (Rev. Ashberry). I recall not being that taken with the series that followed, though. I don't have them anymore, so I can't really revisit them to see what I think now. I don't care for cross-overs of any kind, so when it got around to Jihad where Hellraiser and Nightbreed crossed over, I lost interest.
