uncut vhs?
thought that a rare uncut version was originally released when the film was released on video i looked under the alternate version section and it said that there actually was a release now it doesn't say that
shareI don't know about a legitimate uncut release but a workprint version of the film exist. I'm actualy watching it as I type this! It's really weird because in the graveyard attack scene at the begining it started playing music from the shinning and then cut into a whole track from the evil dead. Weird. The quality of the workprint is by no means great, but if you grew up watching vhs it's kinda nostalgic. And yes, all the violence that was cut is reinserted into this cut, also alternate sequences.

update
i just saw the uncut german version the other day. atleast that is what it is called. there was no reinserted gore that i could tell of as i only flipped through it. stick with the workprint.
i just saw it now its cool to see the uncut stuff but it not really all that different i was hopping for some more extra stuff when all it really is a a few extra seconds of gore and a few alternate takes
