Yep. Awful, just awful. I couldn't wait for her to die, along with most of the rest of them.
shareI don't watch this movie very often because of her non-stop screaming. Why did they (director, crew, etc) have her do that, couldn't they tell how annoying it was to the viewer? Whenever she starts (which is very often) I have to turn down the sound before the neighbors call the police thinking I am butchering cats.
Besides that, her incessant screeching probably brought more dead to the house than the hammering did. They were probably just going about their business and tried to get into the house to shut her up.
I agree. Her screams annoyed the bejesus out of me the last time I saw it.
That and the fact that I couldn't place where else I'd seen her -- she played the equally annoying Poppy on Frasier, although in fairness she was pretty funny on the show.
HOLY CRAP THAT WAS POPPY! I've seen the film and that episode of Frasier many times and never put that together. Zoiks.
On topic, yeah she was kind of annoying. I've always kind of had a soft spot for this film though. Good characters, decent dialogue, corny at times but nothing inherently wrong with that. Fun flick.
