Why does everybody call this a shot-for-shot remake?

I think they're trying to say that it follows the original very closely, but of course it's not shot-for-shot. I think it's because many remakes nowadays borrow the title of a classic film (a "brand" to Hollywood) and then make something entirely different. This one respected the original.
