Is this movie's full original title George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead? I mean, that's the name in the posters.

its because he owned the rights to this movie per his deal with john russo in the 70's and prolly a separate deal with him was made since they shared screenplay rights.also if you ever noticed,none of romeros films after this had"living " in the title.russo got "of the living dead" for his films and romero got"of the dead" for his.thats why return of the living dead isnt romeros film,but dawn of the dead is.look it up like i did itll make sense. basically came from them having creative differences andalso they made no money after the first movie cuz they blew the copyright.
