what happened?
i just watched it today but the cable went out so i don't know what happened after Kate was first seen in the hospital with Mrs. Flax. What happened?

Mrs.Flax and Charlotte have a huge fight. Afterwards they make up.
Katie gets better but has a slight loss of hearing.
Joe moves to California and sends Charlotte funny little postcards.
Mrs.Flax and what's his name (Bob Hoskins) stay together, they go to see the
Baseball museum.
By the end of the movie it seems unlikely that the Flaxes will move again.
Charlotte becomes popular in school.
Happy ending.
That's about it, I think. But still; rent it and see for yourself, it's such a nice movie.
