It was playing at this little theater in Indiana. We all loved it! We all loved Winona Ryder at the time as well. I still love this movie even though it is a required taste for many. I think the reason I loved it so much is because I could relate to Charlotte. She is shy with identity issues like I had at the time.

I have fond memories of seeing this at an old fashioned movie theater called the Bijou, down by the beach. I went with my best friend the year we started high school. I loved the look of the movie, the costumes and the house they lived in.
