Winona Ryder's performance - Oscar worthy?

She's my Best Supporting Actress win for 1990. In fact, I was lot more impressed with Winona Ryder in "Mermaids" than with the actual winner - Whoopi Goldberg in "Ghost".

Anyone think she deserved a nomination?

She should have at least gotten a nomination, she was even nominated for a Golden Globe
