DVD?
Anyone heard anything about a dvd release? It would be great to have, especially an unrated version but i know that's just wishful dreaming.

Don't know if play delivers to the US, but if they do, here is the link:
http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/749307/-/Product.html?searchstring=Horror+Film+Pack%3a+Vol.2
I just checked out that link and found the following movies listed in the pack (didn't see Meridian in the list at all. Is this definitely in the pack?)

It is No. 17 "Phantoms" UK title
shareParamount owns the DVD rights to all of the old Full Moon movies, and so far none of them have been released in the U.S., so I wouldn't count on it any time soon.
shareApparently Paramount has a grudge against Full Moon Entertainment.

Indeed, it is in the horror pack mentioned above in the UK.
The discs are region-free, so you could try importing it - it'd play.
actually it is included in that pack under the name "Phantoms", not Meridian.
shareAhhh... thanks for the clarification. I was thinking of buying the pack but didn't see Meridian listed.
Thanks,
Rick

An Australian IMPORT is coming out soon from Full Moon as part of the "Charles Band DVD Collection" box set.
You can now preorder a DVD box set, The Charlie Band DVD Collection, Vol. 1, due out Sept 12th 2006, containing four movies (Meridan, Doctor Mordrid, Crash and Burn, and Head of the Family) at the website http://www.fullmoondirect.com/
This limited set will only have 500 units for sale according to the website.
It doesn't appear they sell the movies individually

The online store for Full Moon Features sells "Meridian" on DVD as part of a set with other films made by the studio. Good luck!

It is not a bootleg It is the official Austrailian release and if it were a bootleg I highly doubt that the production company would be backing it!!
Anyway I just wish they would release this dvd by itself. I only want this movie out of the Charles Band pack!

I actually picked up a 2-disc set at Walmart for $5
This first disc includes the original Prom Night, Below (haunted German sub flick), The Legend of Sorrow Creek and I Am Omega (asylum I am Legend rip off)
the Second disc is all Full Moon films and includes Evil Bong, Demonic Toys, Decadent Evil and Meridian (R-cut but I'm not sure of the differences between cuts)
The title of the DVD set is The Midnight Horror Collection and again I got it for $5. There was another of the same title but it was a single disc and included Puppet Master 1-3.
