the ralph was horrible in this movie
that kid balthasar getty or whatever his name was was 1 dimensional and boring, and in my opinion responsible for making this movie suck. he did nothing to embody william golding's ralph, he made him seem like some lame, pathetic little saint. in the book ralph is shrewd and charismatic, but flawed, he seeks to retain his popularity, mostly by being rude and unfair to piggy. he isnt some perfect little hallmark kid, he is simply trying to uphold soceity. of course it might not have been the actors fault, alot of the blame probably goes to the writers and director.
