JVV (one of my top 5 films)!

A much underrated film. Yet, by far one of the most magical films I've ever seen b/c of its humanity, character arc, great performances, excellent soundtrack, spectacular visuals and deep meaning. Like an adult bedtime story; a "man's love story" without the goo and sap. This film is an easy 10/10 stars. And lastly, everyone I've shown the film to has taken an appreciation for it as well.

I LOVE "Joe vs. the Volcano". I know others don't get it. I guess it is just all us people with "Brain Clouds" who understand and appreciate this movie so well. I've always felt one of the many themes of this movie is that Life is a Leap of Faith. Whether or not it is considered one of the Best Movies of all Time or Most Underrated Films of all time, takes nothing away from my enjoyment of this wonderful Love Story. And the "Love Story" this movie is tallking about is between Joe and Life, not Meg Ryan's Characters. This is a story about a man who learns to Love Life. And I am willing to bet that there are alot more people out there still trying to learn to love life than people who have learned that secret; the secret of loving life. But I point no fingers in any general direction other than my own. I love this movie so much because I, too, struggle daily to take that grand Leap of Faith.

It wasn't until I saw this movie that I actually started using the phrase "leap of faith." You are both spot-on.
