Soundtrack

For those of you who have always wanted to find the soundtrack, I have an answer. Apperently the MP3's on this site are from a promotional copy of the OST. So I hope you enjoy.

Thanks, I'm going to try that. I've always wanted a soundtrack of JVTV, and thought I wa going to have to try to build my own. I found 'Mas Que Nada' on vinyl, and I've got 'Blue Moon' on CD, and the stuff from the boat is pretty easy to find. What I really love, though, is the Spanish version of "On the Street Where You Live" - it makes my heart swell and burst! I also love the stuff that Shanley wrote himself - "Marooned Without You", and "Cowboy Song".

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been looking for this soundtrack since seeing this movie in 1990.
I already had Blue Moon and Ol Man River in my collection, and gave up on finding the others I want (16 Tons, Marooned Without You--I love this song, absolutely gorgeous). I downloaded I Cover the Waterfront from iTUNES.
And the bits of dialogue--now I've finally got my own soundtrack.

What a great movie.

Well I gotta go now Duane.....I'm due back on the planet Earth

While these aren't the pop songs that many of you may be more interested in, here's the original motion picture soundtrack by the great composer Georges Delerue. It's being offered by the record label Varese Sarabande, and here you may listen to 4 clips:
