After they have been spit out of the volcano and landed in the sea what happens??? Does he finally die?

Well, if by "finally", you mean at some point, then yes he does die. Though maybe not until he's a thousand years old. Did the tape you were watching break at that point? There's only about 5 minutes of the movie left at that point.
