Uncle Buck cast members

Something interesting I noticed during one of the many times I've seen this: 3 of the actors in this are also in Uncle Buck. Macaulay Culkin is the child Gabe in this, and Miles in Uncle Buck; Brain Tarantina is Doug, one of Jake's Army buddies, and is E. Roger Coswell, Buck's friend at the bowling alley; and Suzanne Shepherd is the "Hospital Receptionist" in this, and the assistant principal Mrs. Hogarth, the one with the thing on her face, in UB. And two of them are minor characters in both movies, while Culkin is a main character in UB and a supporting, but pretty important, character in Ladder.

I know there have been many movies that share cast members (not including sequels and things like that; I mean different characters in different movies), but I just found it interesting that two entirely unrelated movies, and only a year apart, shared 3 cast members, and none were the title character in either movie.
