why was Macaulay Culkin uncredited?

I know he only has a small part it but why isn't he in the credits of the film? does anyone know :)

reply

Because this was an "adult" movie that would not appeal to his core of "Home Alone" fans............. (I'm joking!!!)

reply

I am wondering too! The other kids with smaller parts were credited?

Doesn't say anything about it in the trivia.

I'My DVD has him credited. But the imdb.com data is incorrect and though I've tried to have it corrected they won't accept it for unspecified reasons.

reply

Actually, the reason was as another poster guessed. Culkin's father didn't feel the movie fit in with his son's image.

But felt it was OK to hang around with Michael Jackson?

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.
Sony 16:9

That's pretty good.

LOL! that got me.

reply

Kinda like Lisa Bonet appearing in Angel Heart.

reply

Pretty sure she was credited though.

I thought it was weird the other 2 sons were credited, while MC was not even though he had a rather signficant role. If all 3 kids were excluded from the rolling credits that woulda been a whole other story, but nope, only the other 2 boys... what were their names? ;)

WAS HE EWEN ON THE MOVIE

The reason to me is quite obvious. The little twerp isn't considered by insiders as an "actor."More of a wind up cutesey, schmutsey grinning monkey. I'm glad I could clear this up for you, though to me, it was quite obvious. (Refer to my opening sentence)
