Young Henry or adult Henry?

Which version of Henry Bowers would be tougher to deal with under Its influence?

reply

The adult one in the film was pretty run down from age and poor health being in jail, the 17 year old classic greaser from the 50's might have been more of a handful.

I don't think Henry was 17, though. I believe he was about 12, just a little older than the Losers Club. Still a pretty tough kid, though

So far, so good.

There was no way Henry Bowers was 12. The losers were about 12, and the teacher pointed out that he had to repeat years, so I would put him at around 14. Although the actor looked about 16-17

"What you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how can a billion Chinese people be wrong?"

Questions of health both mental and physical aside, it was old Henry that did any real damage to the Losers.

Who loves ya, baby?

Young Henry of course. He seemed to have so much hate for someone so young. I'm reading the book now and still early into it but I'm hoping the book tells some of what makes Henry so angry.

Oh, you'll learn so much more about Henry from the book..
