It's so weird how when you watch this you don't realize how short he is or will be when he is next to the other kids. He must have been 16 when this was made and most of the other kid actors were 11 or 12. Not only that he looks so much different. For real did he have a nose job at some point? I just rewatched this recently so that is why I am pointing these things out.
He was 15 when it was made, and actually younger than Ben Heller, who played young Stan and was 16. I believe the kid who played Eddie was the youngest of the bunch (and the only one actually the same age as the character), but other than Green and Heller, most were 12 or 13. But yes, it looks like he may have had a nose job. Not really uncommon in his line of work.

I am curious at what point he had a nose job. The next thing I ever saw him in was Austin powers and not positive but I think his nose was different. It's unfair but true a celebrity is judged on their looks in terms of getting jobs though. Probably a lot of celebrities are urged to correct imperfections by agents even if the celebrity feels okay because looks do help with career. Also I think he wears lifts on his shoes because in a few interviews his heels are gigantic. I have seen him in a couple things and he looks slightly over 5 feet tall. Seth green usually has somewhat comedic roles so I am imagine there is even more pressure in the looks department for the people that often play the leading man or woman roles.
Well, he was 22 or 23 in Austin Powers. Could have had the nose job in his late teens. He is short, I think around 5'4", but a lot of actors are shorter than you think they are. For some reason it doesn't seem to affect careers as much as it used to. When Jackie Earle Haley was younger and topped out at 5'5", it reportedly was a large part of what killed his career (until his resurgence as a character actor in his 40's). Pretty sure Tom Cruise wears lifts in his shoes; he claims to be 5'9" but I bet he's 5'7" at most. Breckin Meyer is another one who is really short. But I think height is a much bigger deal for leading-man type actors than for character actors and comedic actors. With exceptions; Dustin Hoffman is short, so is Al Pacino. Certainly didn't keep either of them from being successful, but sometimes supreme talent can transcend that, which I think is the case with guys like that.

Seth green could be the height you mentioned with the lifts and much shorter without. Not saying it is true but on some other message board someone said they knew him in real life and that he is only 5 feet flat footed. Again not claiming that has to be true it's just that often the guy looks shorter than 5'4.
One thing very weird is that I swear he looks taller as Richie when in reality I am sure he grew a little after 15 or 16. It's because he definitely looked like a kid in the movie so his height was much more proportionate to his age.
